The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on a gentle E-facing slope, 135m NW of a townland boundary with Ballynagally. Depicted as a circular shaped enclosure on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map with laneway leading off E side of earthwork leading to a farmyard. Shown on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped platform (41m N-S; 39m E-W) bisected by a farm trackway running E-W. Described by O’Dwyer (1959-60, 112) as a platform (diam. 126ft/38.4m; H 4ft/1.2m) enclosed by a well preserved, almost continuous bank, and a ditch (Wth11ft/3.4m), which is missing for a short distance at W. The ringfort is known locally as Caherconreefy and is crossed by a farm track.
Caherconreefy ringfort surveyed by the ASI in 2008 and described as no surface remains visible. Area bisected by a farm trackway running E-W, with portion of monument to N in pasture and remainder to S in farmyard. According to local information this ringfort was levelled approx. 40 years ago. Monument is not visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, or on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 or on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.

See attached a profile of monument drawn by O’Dwyer in 1959 and a Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
