The National Monuments Service's description
On gently sloping low-lying improved, wet pasture, 350m N of the townland boundary with Baskethill. This old field system is located within two modern fields. Enclosure (LI023-160----) located 380m to SSW. The W end of the field system is partially depicted on the OSi 1840 ed. 6-inch map, it is not depicted on the OSi 1897 ed. 25-inch map. It is visible as a relic field system on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12 and on OSi Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-2013. Identified as a parallel field system by the Bruff aerial photographic survey (Bruff 256: AP 4/3716). The field system appears aligned on two separate axis. The E field boundaries are orientated NNW-SSE and are roughly spaced c. 40-60m apart. The W field system is orientated NW-SE. The field system is partially visible on Digital Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/05/2017, however it is not visible on the latest image taken 28/06/2018.
