The National Monuments Service's description

On flat pasture partially bisected by the townland boundary with Rathjordan, 50m E of the townland boundary with Doonvullen Upper. Ring-barrow (LI023-211----) 250m to N. The site is not depicted on historic OSi maps but is faintly visible on the OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 282 AP 4/3658) as a ring-barrow comprised of a circular area defined by a fosse with an external bank (ext. diam. 38m E-W). The S tip of the monument is in Rathjordan townland bisected by the townland boundary. The ring-barrow is visible on the most recent Google Earth orthoimages taken 05/04/2006 and 28/06/2018.
