The National Monuments Service's description

On undulating pasture facing SW 15m NE of the townland boundary with Rootiagh. The ring-barrow (LI023-236001-) is one of five ring-barrows (LI023-236001/005-). The ring-barrows (LI023-236001/5-) form a linear cluster of sites c. 6m apart, roughly orientated in a NW-SE alignment. The ring-barrow is not depicted on historic OSi maps but is faintly visible on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-12. Identified by Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 23701; AP 4/3634) as a circular ring-barrow (ext. diam. c. 7.5m). Visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 25/03/2017, the vegetation cover was more dense on the most recent Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
