The National Monuments Service's description
On low-lying, improved wet pasture, cut by land drains and watercourses. A watercourse lies 20m to E, which also marks a townland boundary with Rathjordan and a parish boundary between Caherelly and Rathjordan. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark enclosing a low central mound by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 14701 & 02: AP 4/3660). The NE arc of the monument is visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 05/04/2006 and on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013, however is not visible on the Google Earth orthoimage taken 26/08/2018.
See attached Google Earth orthoimages 05/04/2006 and 26/08/2018 and Bruff aerial survey image labelled Bruff 14701 & 02.
