The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a gentle N-facing slope. Circular area (diam. 17m) enclosed by earthen bank (Wth 9.3m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.3m). Interior is level and has been raised (H 1.3m) at N to compensate for hill-slope. Earthen field boundary runs E-W c. 1.5m to N of monument; margin of ground between monument and boundary is heavily poached by cattle.
