In pasture, on top of natural hillock. Circular area (17.2m N-S; 18m E-W) defined by bank reduced to uneven scarped edge (Wth 8m; H 2.75m). Revetment of stones face scarp sw to N and vertical scarp formed by face of rock outcrop SW to N. External fosse (basal Wth 2.7m; overall Wth 8.9m; D 0.6m) is cut into rock outcrop and is best preserved NW-NE and shallower NE-E, not evident E-SSW, visible cut into rock again SSW-SW, non-existent SW-NW. Interior is generally level and covered in rough grazing. OS trig point on edge of scarp at NNW. Probably associated with surrounding field system (LI023-273----).
