The National Monuments Service's description
In clearing surrounded by coniferous forestry, on a NE-facing slope with restricted views. Circular area (22m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by scarped edge (Wth 3.3m; H 0.8m) NNW-S that has been truncated by field boundarie at SW and NW. Scarp is best preserved at N, where monument has been raised to compensate for hill-slope. Trace of fosse (basal Wth 1m; overall Wth 6.15m; D 0.2m) E-S. Interior slopes down very gently from scarp into centre. Drain borders field boundaries to SW and NW.
