The National Monuments Service's description
In level wet pasture with moderate views in all directions. Fulacht Fia (LI022-225----) located 50m to NNW. Surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as a well preserved, roughly horseshoe shaped, mound (11.4m NW-SE) of black earth and fire shattered stones. The trough (Wth 2m) was visible as a depression at NNE. A roughly circular cropmark shows the outline of the monument on Google Earth orthoimage taken 19/11/2019 where other similar cropmarks are visible to the SE.
See attached sketch plan surveyed by the ASI and Google Earth orthoimage
