The National Monuments Service's description

Unlocated earthwork within the townland of Kilcaskin described in 1942-3 as following; 'This is a small circular flat-topped mound, partly dug away. It is surrounded by a slight fosse. The entrance is not recognisable. Its maximum height is 10' [3m] over the field level and its overall diameter is 66' [20m]. Situated in rich low-land' (O'Kelly 1942-3, 230).
