The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture, immediately E of townland boundary with Kilderry and 48m N of townland boundary with Kilcurly. An enclosure (LI022-163----) lies 245m to SW and a field system (LI022-248----) 280m to NE. Depicted as a semi-circular shaped earthwork with townland boundary with Kilderry forming E side of monument on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map. Possible that the monument was originally a circular shaped enclosure bisected by the townland boundary with the W half of the monument which was levelled located in the townland of Kilderry. A small quarry hole is shown in W half of the monument on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map.
Site visited by the ASI in 2000 and described as an overgrown raised crescent-shaped area (c.12m N-S; c.12m E-W) defined by a bank mainly reduced to a scarp (Wth 2.4m; H 1.1m) from N-E-S-SW with a field boundary along the top of the scarp from N-E-S-SE. Disturbance to the site has been caused by old quarrying (diam. 6m) at W. The interior is undulating with possible upcast spoil from the quarry. A field boundary running E-W to the S of the site depicted on the 1897 ed. OS 25 inch map has been removed. Known locally as a 'fort', the overgrown site is visible on the Google Earth orthoimage taken in 2018.
