The National Monuments Service's description

In level pasture immediately S of public road with good views in all directions. Surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as a raised circular shaped area (diam. 20m) defined by a scarped edge (H 1.4m) and an external fosse (Wth 3.4m; D 0.55m) with a modern entrance ramp (Wth 6m) at E. A horse-shoe shaped limekiln (9.4m N-S; 6.5m E-W) is visible built into the scarped edge at S. A field boundary intersects the monument at W. The interior is level and densely overgrown as visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 28/06/2018.
