The National Monuments Service's description
In lowlying level pasture with poor views in all directions, 36m E of townland boundary with Ballinveala. Depicted on the 1897 OS 25-inch map as circular shaped area (diam. 29m) defined by a scarp. Surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as only a small portion of the monument remains visible, consisting of a low platform defined by a scarp and fosse (Wth 6.2m; int. D 0.45m; ext. D 0.3m), the interior is level and dry. A field boundary running NW-SE intersects the fosse from NE through to SE. Clearance rubble obscures the fosse from SE through to NNW. The monument is visible as a circular enclosure overgrown with trees on the Google Earth orthoimages taken in 2020.
