The National Monuments Service's description

In reclaimed pasture, immediately E of drain, 100m SE of Ballynagarde Castle (LI022-051001-), moated site (LI022-051002-) lies 90m to NW, within field system (LI022-051004-). No surface remains visible. Identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 58; AP 4/3746) as a circular shaped earthwork (diam. c. 26m). Monument visible as a circular shaped cropmark on Google Earth orthoimages and on OSi orthophoto taken 2005-2012.
