The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying wet, level pasture with restricted views in all directions, 50m N of a townland boundary with Ballylusky. Not depicted on OS historic mapping. Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as a horseshoe-shaped mound (12m NW-SE; 13m NE-SW) which is open (Wth 8m) to NE. Mound is well-formed (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 0.7m) and in good condition, although is eroded at SW exposing charcoal rich earth and burnt stone. Monument is not visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
