The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture on a slight SE-facing slope, with good views in all directions except to higher ground N. Located 30m S and E of the townland boundary with Fanningstown, enclosure (LI021-096----) 500m to SE. Depicted on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map as an embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40m). It is not subsequently depicted on OSi maps. Inspected by the ASI in 2000 when no trace of the monument was identified on the ground. Faint outline of monument visible on OSi orthophotos taken 2005-12. Levelled monument not visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018 and 14/02/2020.
