The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on SW-facing slope. Roughly circular area (34m N-S; 32m E-W) defined by scarped edge (H 0.4m; Wth 6m) most pronounced NNE->SW where exaggerated by fall of ground. Field boundary, shown skirting enclosure W->E on 1923 OS 6-inch map, have been removed, leaving enclosure part of enlarged pasture field.
