The National Monuments Service's description

In low lying level wet pasture with poor views in all directions. The ringfort is located on and just to the N of the townland boundary with Killonahan and 500m E of a ringfort (LI021-055----). The site is depicted as a small circular fort on the 1840 ed. OSi 6-inch map within a rectangular shaped field. Shown on the 1897 ed. OSi 25-inch map as an oval embanked enclosure (ext. diam. 27m N-S; 35m E-W) where the S bank has been partially removed by a later field boundary. Inspected by the ASI in 2000 and described as a raised ovoid-shaped area (int. diam. 14m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by a scarped edge and an external fosse (Wth 6.6m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.3m) with a ramped entrance (Wth 6m) at N, which appears to be modern. A field drain flows from a ditch at NE along the E and S side of the ringfort through the fosse draining to the SW. The ringfort is overgrown with scrub woodland which is visible on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018 and 14/02/2020.
