The National Monuments Service's description

According to Urban Survey of County Limerick (Bradley et. al. 1989, 31) 'two altar slabs from this abbey (i.e. the Augustinian Black Abbey LI021-032006-) which can probably be dated to prior to 1700, are said to be in the small chapels off the south transept of the Franciscan Friary' (LI021-032007-). (- the other fragment is LI021-032015-)'.
