The National Monuments Service's description
Medieval parish church ruins (LI021-032004-) dedicated to St. Nicholas stands in SW quadrant of graveyard with ruins of medieval chapel (LI021-032011-) in centre. Adare Castle (LI021-032003-) 75m to SSW and Franciscan Abbey (LI021-032007-) 290m to SE. Graveyard consists of a rectangular-shaped area (approx. dims. 71m N-S x 88m E-W) enclosed by a post-1700 stone wall with entrance gate at N.
