The National Monuments Service's description

In gentle undulating pasture, 65m E of the townland boundary with Kilgobbin, enclosure (LI021-148----) lies 200m E. Depicted on the 1840 OS 6-inch sheet as a circular-shaped area (approx. overall diam. 42m) defined by a bank intersected by three post-1700 field boundaries at NNE, SSE and NW. Not indicated on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map, likely that the monument was levelled between these map dates. No surface remains visible. Site visited by Celie O’Rahilly during field survey in 1991 prior to the construction of the Limerick-Adare road and described as following; ‘There is a kink in the north-south running field boundary which may reflect the remains of this enclosure’ (O’Rahilly 1991). This curve in the field boundary is visible on the 1897 ed. OS 25-inch map and represents the outer enclosing element of the monument at SSE. Faint outline of levelled monument visible on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-13. Outline of levelled monument visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 14/02/2020.
