The National Monuments Service's description

Built into enclosing earthen bank of ringfort (LI020-128---); face of kiln in line with front face of bank. Rectangular structure (5.2m NW-SE; 6.1m SW-NE) with opening facing NW. Front of opening (H 2.15m; Wth 2.5m) has rounded red-brick arch. Recess (D 2.5m) has square stoke hole (H 0.6m; Wth 0.6m) at rear. Top of kiln obscured by dense overgrowth of ivy. Two buttress support W angle of structure. To rear is sloping earthen ramp (L 15m; Wth 2.6m) crossing interior of ringfort.
