The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, atop gentle rise in undulating terrain. Circular area (diam. 34m) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank, with external fosse (Wth 1.4m, D 0.55m) ESE->NW. Bank (int. H 1.35m; ext. H 1.85m), best preserved SE->SW, is masked by bushes and trees. Earth and stones have been dumped against external bank face at E, where there is an opening (Wth 2.7m) through dumped material and bank. Level interior is covered with nettles and thistles. Farm passage skirts around enclosure W->NNE, clipping fosse at N.
