The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on NE-facing slope, below brow of low hill. Oval area (30m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank with external fosse (D 1.45m; Wth 1.9m). Bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 2m), best preserved along W arc, lowers to scarp-like edge (H 1m; Wth 5m) NNW->NNE. Fosse, cut by field boundary at NNE, has field boundary running along outer edge at E. Narrow causeway (Wth 2m) across fosse at NNW. Interior, under pasture, slopes down gently to E.
