The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on S-facing hill slope in area of outcropping limestone. D-shaped area (48m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by dry-stone wall (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.1), with vertical inner face and sod-covered sloping outer face SE->NNE, and by linear dry-stone field wall on NE side. Cattle trough inserted into inner wall face at N; interior used as paddock. Interior, under pasture, slopes down to S. Access to interior via gate in field wall.
