The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on S-facing slope, below brow of hill. Roughly circular area (35.5m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks, with an intervening fosse (Wth 1.4m). Inner bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.6m), best preserved NW->N, becomes scarp-like ENE->ESE. Outer bank (ext. H 0.6m), incorporated into dry-stone field boundary SE->SW, has been denuded N->NE. Fosse is littered with stones and organic debris. Interior, under pasture but covered by mature deciduous trees, slopes down to SE. Field boundary, shown abutting enclosure at NNW on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been removed.
