The National Monuments Service's description
In reclaimed pasture 20m S of ringfort (LI019-005----) and 15m E of enclosure (LI019-271----). Not depicted on OS maps. Identified as a fulacht fiadh and indicated as Site 1C on plan submitted by P.J. O’Hanlon of Teagasc in 2009. Visible as a low horseshoe shaped mound on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13. The levelled site is visible today as a horseshoe-shaped cropmark on Google Earth orthoimage taken 15/04/2020.
