The National Monuments Service's description
In area of waste adjacent to quarry. Oval area (24m N-S; 34m E-W) enclosed by earth-and-stone bank (int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.7m). Bank best preserved W->NW (ext. H 1.65m) with external stone-facing SW->NE. Interior has been extensively quarried out to a depth of c. 2m. Field boundaries abut enclosure at SW and NE.
