The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, atop hill with panoramic views. Circular area (diam. 12.4m) enclosed by earthen bank. Bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 2.15m), best preserved N->E, lowers to scarped edge (H 0.8m; Wth 2.85m) at SE. Bank, heavily masked by briars and furz, is part of surrounding field boundary system SW->N. Level interior divided by modern wire fence on E-W axis across middle, with area to N inaccessible as covered by briars. Area to S of fence is incorporated into NW corner of paddock adjoining derelict farmhouse to SE.
