The National Monuments Service's description
On SE-facing slope, on N edge of sheer fall into ravine. Oval area (26.5m N-S; c. 30m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank SW->SE and defined by scarped edge SE->SW. Bank (int. H 0.9m; ext. H 2.9m), best preserved along NE arc, lowers at SW (ext. H 1.2m). Scarp (H 2.35m; Wth 3.3m) drops to natural ledge (Wth 3.1m) above top of ravine S->WSW. Field boundary skirts around base of scarp (3.75m outside it) W->NNW. Interior, heavily masked by vegetation overgrowth, slopes down to S. Degraded earth-and-stone field boundary abuts enclosure at SSE; another field boundary which abutted at NE has been removed.
