Described by Westropp (Wardell 1904, 58) as following; 'A curious little tombstone leans against this wall, a solid block, 13½ inches [0.35m] to 9¼ inches [0.22m] broad, and about 30 inches [0.76m] high, adorned by a delicately incised Latin cross with round bosses and concave curves at the intersection of the arms'.
