The National Monuments Service's description

In level tillage. In ploughed field a ring of lightly coloured (yellow/brown) stony soil with band of darker soil along its outside edge can be made out enclosing circular area (28m N-S; 30m E-W). This pattern suggests remains of a ploughed-out circular enclosure in which the enclosing element consisted of a bank with an external fosse. From N->E, along line of lighter soil, a slight rise is evident (H c. 0.15m).
