The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture, on N-facing slope. Oval area (26m N-S; 22m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 1.3m) SE->SW, and defined by scarped edge (H 1.3m; Wth 5.5m) SW->SE. Lime kiln built against scarped edge at N. At SE scarp has been quarried away, probably when kiln constructed. Interior level and under grass; in NE quadrant is shallow depression (3m x 2m; D 0.4m) with up-cast mound (3m x 2m; H 0.4m) on S side.
