The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying marshy terrain, on W side of stream. Oval area (22m N-S; 32.8m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.25m; ext. H 2m), with very shallow external fosse (D c. 0.1m; Wth c. 2m) SE->NW, and with stream immediately outside bank NW->SE. Break (Wth c. 5m) in bank at NNE faces directly onto stream, but no other entrance evident. Interior slopes down gently to NE following line of surrounding terrain. Entire site is covered by trees and bushes.
