The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on N-facing slope of low E-W ridge. Circular area (27m E-W; 27m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.65m; ext. H 0.9m), with external fosse (Wth 1m; D 0.3m) E->SW, and external earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.55m) S->SW. Enclosing element is truncated at W by a N-S field boundary. Enclosing element and level interior are covered by gorse.
