The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope. Enclosure is entirely covered by dense overgrowth of trees and bushes but appears to be roughly circular in plan (diam. 28m N-S) and enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.05m; ext. H 1.1m), with external fosse (Wth c. 3m; D 0.3m) E->N. Field boundaries abut enclosure at N, SE and SW. Interior slopes down gently to N.
