The National Monuments Service's description
At the E edge of a forestry plantation facing onto a public road. Not depicted as an antiquity on the 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map. The revised edition of the OS map depicts a raised semi-circular shaped area (approx. dims. NW-SE 17m) with a rectangular shaped extension at NW. The earthwork is intersected by field boundary at NW and by a roadway from N through to E. Google Earth orthoimage taken 15/04/2020 shows the outline of the site at the edge of the forestry plantation.
