The National Monuments Service's description

In marshy terrain, on N-facing slope. Monument, depicted as embanked circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled but trace of enclosing element discernible NW->SW. This consists of slight scarped edge (H c. 0.25m; Wth 3m) with external fosse (D c. 0.95m; Wth c. 5m). There are traces of a slight counterscarp bank NW->NE and E->SE (H c. 0.25m). Enclosure truncated SW->NW by N-S field boundary. Immediately beyond field boundary to W is ringfort (LI017-029---) probably conjoined with this one.
