The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle N-facing slope. Circular area (25m N-S; 26m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.15m), with external fosse (D 0.6m; Wth 2.2m) NNE->NW but truncated by field boundary NW->NNE. Bank overgrown with trees and bushes. Level interior under pasture.
