The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pasture. Circular area (28m N-S; 27m E-W) enclosed by two concentric earthen banks with intervening (Wth 3m) fosse. Inner bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 2.75m) and external bank (int. H 1.5m; ext. H 0.8m) covered by mature trees. Outer bank overlain or replaced by field boundary NNE->SSW. Break in bank (Wth 1.25m) with causeway across fosse at NNE. Interior level and partially overgrown by bushes.
