The National Monuments Service's description

In gently undulating marshy pasture. Circular area (diam. c. 23m) enclosed by flat-topped earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 2m; Wth at top 2m), with concentric outer bank NW->NE (H c. 0.4m; Wth c. 8m). Inner bank obscured by dense overgrowth, especially at N and S ends where overgrowth extends into interior. Breaks in bank at NNW, NE and SE caused by cattle accessing interior. Level interior under pasture except at N and S edges.
