The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope in gently rolling pasture, with good views in all directions. The monument consists of a roughly circular area (34.7m NE-SW; 30.6m NW-SE) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 5m; H 0.8m) with an external fosse (Wth 2.1m; D 0.9m). The interior slopes down to SE. The morphology of this enclosure indicates that it may be Bronze Age in date (Doody 2008, 129).
