The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in low-lying pasture with good views in all directions. The monument consists of a circular area (16.6m N-S; 15.5m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 3m; H 0.6m) with an external fosse (Wth 2m) and an external bank (int. H 0.3m; Wth 2m; ext. H 0.25m). There is a reduction in the height of the scarp to S (Wth. 3.7m) and it has been eroded at NE and SE. The fosse is evident from NE to SE and SW to NNE. The external bank is intermittent from NE to SE, and from SW to NW. The interior is uneven and slopes down to S.
