The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a gentle S-facing slope in poorly drained, rolling pasture, with good views to W. The monument is partly obscured by scrub vegetation. It consists of a roughly circular area (21.4m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 3.2m; H 0.7m) with an external fosse (Wth 3.3m; D 0.2m), most evident from SE to NW. The interior surface is uneven and slopes down to NW.
