The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, approx. 50m NW of ringfort (LI013-170001-) and immediately W of ringfort (LI013-071----). Not depicted on the 1840 0S 6-inch map or the 1897 25-inch OS map. Identified as site 29 by Celie O’Rahilly, archaeologist, Limerick Corporation as part of an archaeological assessment for the development of a racecourse at Greenmount, Co. Limerick. It was described as following; ‘a hollow sub-circular area circa. 30m north-south. The western side is higher due to the sloping ground and it is open to the east. There is a low mound centrally placed’ (O‘Rahilly 1995). Monument not visible on Google Earth orthoimage taken 14/02/2020.
