The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a gentle W-facing slope in the valley of a tributary of the Ballyclogh River, in rolling pasture, overlooked by Knockea Hill to the E. Enclosure, depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as a ropughly circular area (65m NW-SE; 60m SW-NE) enclosed by an earthen bank with an external fosse. The enclosing element is now inaccessible due to dense scrub vegetation. The interior appears to be largely clear of overgrowth.
