The National Monuments Service's description
Situated atop a low hill, in gently rolling pasture, with good views to E, S and W, with mature beech trees grow on the perimeter and in the centre. The monument consists of an oval area (31m E-W; 25m N-S) defined by a scarped edge (Wth 2.8m; H 0.8m). A dip in the scarp at S (Wth 5m) might be the result of quarrying.
