The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a rise, in an area of rough pasture and woodland. The monument that is depicted on the 1924 OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (c. 75m N-S; c. 60m E-W) is largely masked by dense woodland vegetation. A scarped edge (H 1.1m; Wth 24m) is evident on the E side in the area under rough pasture.
