The National Monuments Service's description

According to local information (pers. comm. Barry O'Reilly) at this location a 'cavity c. 0.3m deep' was uncovered 'with evidence of roofing of thin stone slabs running in under sod and each side of cavity.' Situated in flat tilled land, c. 3m W of a disused trackway and c. 5m SE of a field boundary that runs along a road, there was no evident trace of this feature when inspected in 2004.
