The National Monuments Service's description

In 1992, as part of an archaeological assessment by Celie 0 Rahilly a single cut was made in which pits, a possible stone feature, charcoal and bone were noted. Owing to their presence, although no datable finds were recovered, the proposed development was relocated and the site back-filled. These features are probably associated with the nearby monastic and urban settlement of Mungret (CO013-009----).
